1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
1.1 eleVate Amsterdam is a private members club for training, recovery and wellbeing at Asterweg 17 A26, Amsterdam Noord. "eleVate", "we", "us" and "our" mean Elevate Health Club B.V., part of V Group Holding B.V., trading as eleVate Amsterdam, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 99748894, registered office Asterweg 17 A26, 1031 HL Amsterdam, VAT number NL869117154B01. Email hello@elevateamsterdam.com.
1.2 These terms cover every membership and purchase you make from us, on our website, in our app, at the club or by email, and they apply together with our house rules, which form part of your agreement. Where the two differ, these terms apply. Prices include value added tax. Payments are processed by bsport, our booking, membership and payment platform. Your invoice comes from us.
1.3 Membership is personal to you, a privilege we extend, and cannot be transferred, sold or shared. The one exception is supporter credit, under clause 12.
1.4 Membership is limited to 350 members at any time. We will not exceed it.
2. The house, and when we open
2.1 Our opening day is 21 November 2026. From 22 November 2026 we are open daily 06:30 to 21:00. We may adjust opening hours, including on public holidays, with reasonable notice in our app and on our website. Your membership begins on the start date in your confirmation.
3. Joining: your application and your payment
3.1 You apply, you pay, and then we meet. We meet every new member in person before opening, to talk about your goals, your health and what you want from the house.
3.2 Your payment is a prepayment for the membership in these terms, starting on the date in your confirmation. It is not a fee for applying, and not a deposit we may keep without cause.
3.3 If we agree when we meet that eleVate is not the right fit, we refund you in full within 14 days, by the method you used. You need give no reason. We decide who joins, and may decline an application or offer a different membership instead; if we decline, we refund in full on the same basis.
4. Your right to change your mind
4.1 If you buy online, you have 14 days from the day you bought to withdraw, without giving a reason. This is your legal right, and it applies to memberships and to supporter credit.
4.2 How to withdraw. Use the withdrawal function on our website, labelled so it is clear it cancels your purchase and available throughout the 14 days. Or complete the form in clause 21, email hello@elevateamsterdam.com, or write to the address in clause 1.1. We confirm receipt promptly in writing.
4.3 What happens next. We refund everything you paid within 14 days of your notice, by the same method. If your membership has already started and you have used the club, we charge a proportionate amount for the days used and refund the rest. At checkout we ask you to confirm you want your membership to start on opening day. That request is what lets us begin, and why the proportionate charge applies. Nothing here reduces your rights if we fail to deliver what we promised.
5. Founding membership
5.1 Price: 2,000 euros, paid once, including value added tax. Access runs from 21 November 2026 to 20 November 2027, one full year.
5.2 Included: unlimited access during opening hours to the strength floor, the cardio area, the studio and classes, the recovery ritual space, the café and member events, plus priority booking and the founding benefits on the offer page when you buy.
5.3 Fifty places, and no more. The offer closes on 11 November 2026 and will not be offered again.
5.4 Years two and three. If you renew without a break, you pay 10 per cent less than the regular rate then applying, for your second and third years of continuous membership. The discount is personal, for one membership, cannot be transferred, shared or paid out, and ends after your third year. Renew before your first year ends, without a gap, to keep it.
5.5 Your founding membership does not renew by itself. It ends on 20 November 2027 unless you choose to continue. We remind you beforehand, with the rate that would then apply.
6. Early membership
6.1 Price: 600 euros, paid once, including value added tax. Access runs from 21 November 2026 to 12 February 2027, twelve weeks. Sale closes 11 November 2026.
6.2 Included: the same access as clause 5.2, for twelve weeks. Founding benefits, the discount in clause 5.4 and the founding rate are not included.
6.3 Continuing. At the end of the twelve weeks you may continue as a regular member at the rate then applying. It is your choice, and we write to you beforehand. If you do not reply, your membership ends on 12 February 2027 and you owe nothing further.
6.4 If you continue, your regular membership starts on 13 February 2027, billed every 28 days. Clause 7 applies, including your right to cancel at any time.
7. Regular membership
7.1 Price: 250 euros every four weeks, including value added tax. You choose your start date when you buy, not before 21 November 2026. We charge you on the day you buy, then every 28 days.
7.2 Continuing. Your membership continues for each following 28 day period until you cancel. We tell you this before you buy, confirm it in writing, and remind you each year.
7.3 Cancelling. You may cancel at any time, for any reason, using the cancellation function on our website or app, or by email to hello@elevateamsterdam.com. If you cancel before your next billing date, your membership ends at the end of the period you have paid for, and we take no further payment.
7.4 We never ask more than one month of notice on a continuing membership, and never hold you beyond the period you have paid for. Dutch law requires a continuing membership to be cancellable after the first year with notice of at most one month. Ours goes further.
7.5 Apart from the right in clause 4, payments already made are not refunded, except where these terms or the law say otherwise.
8. Price changes
8.1 We may change the regular rate, with at least 30 days notice. If you do not accept it, cancel before it takes effect and your membership ends at the end of the period you have paid for. Otherwise the new rate applies from the date we gave.
8.2 We will not change the price of anything you have already paid for in full, and will not raise the rate in your first three months.
9. The house rules
9.1 Our house rules form part of these terms and apply to you and your guests. We keep them few and expect them kept. In short: respect the house and everyone in it, keep voices low, keep phones in your locker, re-rack and wipe down, follow the heat and cold protocols, and never cold plunge alone. You must be 18 or over. Someone younger may join only with our approval, asked for before buying, and with a parent or guardian who signs for them.
9.2 The rules in force when you join are the ones you agree to. We may update them for safety or for the calm of the house, and will tell you. No change will materially reduce what you paid for.
10. Bookings, classes, coaching and treatments
10.1 Book classes, coaching and treatments in our app or with the team; walk-ins depend on availability. Arrive ten minutes early. If you are late, your session still finishes on time to keep the next member on schedule.
10.2 Cancel at least 24 hours before a booking. A later cancellation or a no-show is charged in full. We waive the charge if you are ill or there is a genuine emergency.
10.3 Coaching on the floor is provided by our coaches. External trainers are not permitted. Advanced treatments, including hyperbaric, intravenous and diagnostic treatments with our clinical partner, need a completed health intake and your written consent first.
11. Guests
11.1 Founding members may bring a guest twice every four weeks at no charge, for as long as they remain founding members. Until 20 November 2027, all other members may bring a guest once every four weeks at no charge. After that date, other memberships include no guest visits unless we announce otherwise. We may change the guest allowance of memberships other than founding memberships by notice in our app and on our website, at least four weeks in advance. Unused guest visits do not carry over.
11.2 You are responsible for your guests. Arrive together, host them, stay with them in the house, and make sure they know the rules. Guests use the strength floor, the café and the ritual space; treatments, programmes and member events are for members only unless we say otherwise. A guest who breaks the house rules may be asked to leave, which may affect your own membership.
11.3 Proposing someone who would like to join is always welcome.
12. Supporter credit
12.1 You choose an amount from 500 to 1,500 euros, pay it once including value added tax, and we add 10 per cent bonus credit. Pay 500 euros and receive 550. Buying supporter credit also includes an invitation to our opening night, subject to capacity.
12.2 Spending it. Use your credit against coaching, personal training and treatments with our team. It is not a membership and gives no access on its own, though you may use it inside one.
12.3 Validity. Your credit is valid for two years from the day you buy it, 730 days. We email you if you still have a balance. Anything unused then can no longer be spent, unless the law, or a decision we make in your favour, says otherwise.
12.4 Transferring it. You may pass your credit to a guest once, by telling us in writing. From then it belongs to them and this clause applies to them. Your membership can never be transferred.
12.5 No cash. Credit cannot be exchanged for cash or paid out, and is not refundable once bought, apart from your right in clause 4 and your other legal rights. The bonus credit has no cash value, and is the first part you spend.
13. If opening is delayed, or the house changes
13.1 If opening is delayed, your membership starts on the day we open and runs its full length from that day. It is extended by the length of the delay, at no cost to you.
13.2 If we have not opened within three months of 21 November 2026, you may cancel, and we refund in full, within 14 days, everything you paid for time you could not use. That is your long stop date.
13.3 Force majeure. If something outside our reasonable control prevents us opening or running the house, including fire, flooding, building failure, epidemic or war, we are not in default while it lasts. Beyond three months, clause 13.2 applies.
13.4 Temporary closures. We may close parts of the house for maintenance, repair, deep cleaning or safety. We keep these short and give notice of planned work. Where a substantial part of the house is closed for more than a few days, we extend your membership for the time lost.
13.5 Changes. We may change the timetable, classes, equipment, facilities, programme and team, and add new services. We will not remove a substantial part of what you paid for. If a change materially reduces your membership for more than a short period, you may cancel, and we refund the unused part.
14. Freezing your membership
14.1 If illness, injury or pregnancy means you cannot use the house, ask us in writing and we will freeze your membership. We need a note from your doctor or midwife.
14.2 A freeze runs in full periods of four weeks, for at least four and at most twelve weeks in any twelve months. Your end date moves by the length of the freeze. Regular payments pause; early and founding memberships are extended rather than refunded.
14.3 For anything longer, talk to us. We would rather find a solution than lose you.
15. Health, safety, risk and possessions
15.1 Before your first visit, please complete our health declaration. Tell us about any condition, medication, injury or pregnancy that could matter, and tell a team member if anything changes. Our team may decline or adapt a session for your safety. Before certain treatments, including hyperbaric oxygen, cold and heat exposure, and intravenous and clinic services, or when your declaration shows a possible risk, we may ask for a note from your doctor first.
15.2 You train and recover at your own risk and within your own limits. Nothing here excludes our liability for our own intent or gross negligence, or any liability we cannot exclude or limit by law. Beyond that, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the previous twelve months, and we are not liable for indirect loss.
15.3 First aid trained staff are on site whenever the house is open. Tell us straight away if you feel unwell, or if there is a spill or damaged equipment.
15.4 Possessions. Lockers are provided. Do not bring valuables to the house or leave them in a locker. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to belongings beyond what the law requires. Lost property is kept for 30 days, then donated.
16. Refusing entry, suspension and ending your membership
16.1 We may refuse entry to anyone, including a member, who is unsafe, unwell, intoxicated or disruptive, or who will not follow the house rules.
16.2 We may suspend or end your membership if you break these terms or the house rules, endanger or harass others, damage the house, or do not pay. Breaches of privacy, harassment, and disrespect towards staff or members may lead straight to termination, without the steps below.
16.3 Where there is time, we start with a private conversation, then a written note from the General Manager, then suspension or termination. You will be told why, in writing, and may put your side to us.
16.4 If we end your membership for a serious breach, we do not refund the period you are in. If we end it for any other reason, or the law requires it, we refund the unused part in proportion to the time left. We do not keep money for a service we will not provide.
16.5 If you think we have got it wrong, clause 18 is there for you.
17. Your data, and your privacy
17.1 We use your personal data to run your membership, take payment, keep you safe, and tell you about the house. We do not sell it, and share it only with the suppliers who help us run the club or where the law requires. Our privacy statement explains what we hold, why, how long, and your rights. Ask us any time.
17.2 Photography and phones. No photographs or video of other members, guests or staff, ever, and nothing in the house without the consent of everyone in frame. No cameras in the ritual space, changing rooms or treatment rooms. Phones stay in your locker. Tripods only with our approval. Content of yourself is fine on the strength floor and in the café, as long as nobody else is in frame.
17.3 What happens in the house stays in the house. Who you meet here, and what they share, is not repeated.
18. Complaints
18.1 Write to the General Manager at hello@elevateamsterdam.com with the word complaint in the subject line, or hand it in at the desk. We acknowledge within five working days and answer within fourteen. If you are not satisfied, ask for it to go to management. Nothing here takes away your right to complain to a public authority or go to court.
19. The law that applies, and the courts
19.1 Your agreement with us is governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the court in Amsterdam, unless the law gives you the right to bring your claim elsewhere. If you live elsewhere in the Netherlands, you may use the court where you live.
20. Changes to these terms
20.1 We may change these terms in writing, with at least 30 days notice by email. If a change is to your disadvantage and you do not accept it, tell us before it takes effect and you may cancel, ending at the end of the period you have paid for.
21. Model withdrawal form
